The teachers make every effort to teach the children about responsibility and respect to one another, in that type of environment one can only have one option and that is to achieve. Music is available, to a small degree sports but we're growing and more is to come."

"We wish more people knew about this school. The staff is committed to creating an environment where students respect one another and want to learn. Learning is exciting for the students, and the fact that they learn in multi-age classrooms is an added plus. Teachers are fun and the school is filled with childrens art all of the time. Great Spanish program some extracurricular activities such as dance, music, cub scouts and soccer. Parents are committed and involved. Lots of father involvement very unusual to see. Its location is what makes it work right in the heart of downtown. It is fun to drive in from Dekalb County with my child and know that having lunch or going to read to the class is something easily done on a lunch break. Being near the Aquarium, Centennial Olympic Park wow what else can you say."

Though the school has gone through some growing pains, the emphasis on the children has remained and ANCS continues to be paramount. The academics are solid and the arts and extracurricular opportunities far exceed other schools of it size.
